The Public Health Commission has decided not to take extraordinary action in the confirmed cases of smallpox so far after verifying that they are not serious.

Cases have been confirmed so far in 17 countries, mostly Europe, although infections have also been identified in Pakistan, Israel, Canada, USA and Australia.
