Ammerzoden Dressage Competition: towards a place in the final

The KFPS Horses2fly dressage sport selection competition was held on Saturday 12 November. A number of racers achieved double wins by finishing at the front of their class twice. This will keep him busy at the top of the intermediate rankings heading into the final spot at Sonnega on Feb. 17-19.

Isabelle with steam

Isabelle Vroomans did very well. In Z1 dressage he won twice with Demro Stables’ Brechtje (Jorn 430) by 222 and 227 points and was therefore at the top of the intermediate rankings. With this score, Elias’ six-year-old full brother managed to finish 494 higher than a number of studbook sires. Sabine van de Loenhorst was second with Boet 516 (Jouwe 485), and third with Willem 508 (Hette 481), followed by Marijke Boelen with Arent 515 (Jouwe 485) and again Sabine with Auwert 514 (Jehannes 484), who also has a beautiful score of 208 points. In the second test the stallions did not enter the track and Demi van Nuys was in second place with Hanne G. (Tietse 428).

On track for a place in the final

Isabelle also won L2 twice in a Hummer (Elias 494), with 219.5 and 225 points. This puts him at the top of the rankings and promises to be an exciting fight. Apart from her, Irma Bouman also came twice with Yente fan Veldzicht (Pier 448) and Edith de Wild was third twice with Falke van de Lokven Hoeve (Reinder 452), putting the women on course for final place.
Chaline Hensen achieved a double on the M1. With Evy Galloper (Mark 491) he achieved 213.5 and 223 points and was therefore at the top of the intermediate rankings. Second place was won by Marijke Boelen with studbook stallion Faust 523 (Maurits 437), in the second test Merel van Merkensteijn with Yzer fan Merkensteijn (Hessel 480) was in 2nd place.

Double win for Romy and Foekje

In dressage B, Romy van Wees and Foekje fan Hummelhof (Pier 448) strengthened their good position in the middle rankings. They placed first twice with 202.5 and 203.5 points. Fenne Timmermans was second with Imme fan Veldzicht (Alwin 469) and that applied to Maureen Okken in the first test with fan Hangzhou Henswoude (Mees 497), who was also top in the intermediate rankings.
Most combinations start at L1. Denise Speelpenning and Harley fan de Poortershoek (Tsjalle 454) and Kathy van Dommelen – Jansen with Bernlef fan ‘t Fjildhûs (Gerben 479) moved first and second in both tests. Third came Tamara van Gestel-Vugts with Hylkje D. (Mark 491) and Anne Kooymans with Fien van ‘t Lansink (Mark 491).

Maximum score for Michele and Yme Ids

Michele Lancée-Klip won Z2 dressage. With Yme Ids Milanco (Hessel 480) he collected 221.5 points and reached the maximum number of points. Demi van Nuys competed with Demro Stables’ Rob on ZZ Licht and scored 211.5 points. In the second test a rider entered the track: Edith de Wild achieved a score of 210 points in Z2 with Roderick van Weelde (Maurus 441).

Laura and Floris won M2

In M2, Laura Roling and Floris van de Terpen (Hessel 480) continued their good performance and took the lead, placing them in the interim classification with a full pile of points. Marion De Kuiper – Metz was second with Rein and the combination won the second test.
