ING appointed Laurens de Vos as Business Banking Director of ING Netherlands

Laurens de Vos follows Michal Bolesławski as Business Banking Director of ING Netherlands. This means that De Vos will from now on be part of the Executive Committee of ING Netherlands. Bolesławski – who filled the position on an interim basis – remains Global Head of Business Banking for umbrella organization ING Group.

De Vos has been with ING since 2010 and has since held various leadership positions in trading, risk, IT and operations. His last position was Sales Director for Business Banking in the Netherlands.

In his new role as Director of Business Banking, he will be responsible for the overall business bank as well as banking services to large business, SME and self-employed customers in the Netherlands. Business units such as Leasing, Factoring, Real Estate Financing and Payments will also be part of its portfolio.

“Laurens strives to provide an optimal customer experience that meets entrepreneurs’ needs and desires,” explained ING. “The strategic spearhead is the acceleration of Dutch business sustainability and its dedication to fostering a more sustainable society.”
