Winand van de Kamp wrote in – Haarlems Dagblad, 24 September 2020

‘With its phenomenal performance of the Schubert Quartet’s ‘Der Tod und das Mädchen’, the Ruysdael Quartet clearly makes its mark as absolute top of the world to belong. The four musicians draw you into their debates simply with their rich, multicolored voices. The quartet achieves maximum expression with total technical control. Every detail is right, every note falls exactly where it belongs. But the Ruysdael Quartet’s playing didn’t sound artificial. It leaves the nerves exposed.’
