Eminem and Snoop Dogg score in England

Eminem and Snoop Dogg had a hit together in the UK. Their song From The D To The LBC debuted at number 51 this week.

The title From The D To The LBC refers to the two rappers’ home bases. The ‘D’ stands for Eminem’s Detroit and the ‘LBC’ stands for Long Beach, California. That’s where Snoop Dogg comes from. With this single, the rappers celebrate their years of friendship and confirm that their 2020 short beef is finally over. That year, Snoop Dogg entered the top 10 most successful rappers of all time, without using Eminem. Eminem responded to this in the song Zeus from his album Music To Be Murdered By – Side B. But now things are back to normal.

Despite their friendship over the years, we’ve only heard of Eminem and Snoop Dogg on a track together before. On the song Bitch Please II from The Marshall Mathers LP Eminem from 2000, Snoop Dogg is one of the rappers to make a guest appearance. Around the same time, the two also collaborated on the single Forget About Dre / Still DRE by Dr. dr. However, it was a ‘double A-side’ with Eminem taking over on track one and Snoop on track two.

In the music video, Eminem and Snoop Dogg are seen together in the studio. However, most videos are animation. In it we see a rapper in the guise of two monkeys.
