Dispensa Group plc announces the appointment of Mr Alessandro Colombo as CEO with immediate effect. Mr. Colombo, 56 years old, is a highly experienced manager who has held senior leadership positions in public and private companies as General Manager and CEO. Most recently, Mr. Colombo served as Area General Manager for Italy at Sonder, a leading hospitality group, where he was responsible for strategy and operations and achieved record sales growth.
Previously, Mr. Colombo was Chief Executive Officer at IKB Corporate Lab, a joint venture between UniCredit and IKB in the financial sector, and Vice President in investment banking at Credit Suisse First Boston, where he advised corporate clients on corporate strategy, mergers and acquisition. and fundraising. Mr. Colombo has also worked as a corporate finance manager at Swiss insurance company Assura SA and as a management consultant at McKinsey & Co. Mr Colombo is an Italian citizen, speaks five languages and has experience working in continental Europe and the UK.
He has a degree in economics from Bocconi and an MBA from the University of California, Los Angeles.
