Van Mossel crosses the Channel: the first acquisition in Great Britain is a fact

After the Benelux and Germany, now it’s England’s turn to know Van Mossel. The Dutch dealer group took over the Jacksons Group, a British dealer group with 500 employees selling 6,000 cars a year.

Van Mossel recently moved to Germany with the acquisition of German dealer group Hugo Pfohe, but has also moved north with the acquisition of the Jacksons multi-brand dealer group, active in the Channel Islands (2 locations in Jersey and 2 in Guernsey), Isle of Man (1 location ) and the Isle of Wight (1 location) where 29 different brands are offered and six thousand cars and motorcycles change hands every year.

With the takeover, Van Mossel immediately added 8 more brands to its portfolio, because 8 of the 29 brands sold by Jacksons had not been sold by Van Mossel. The new names are Aston Martin, Bentley, BMW cars and motorcycles, Honda motorcycles, Lexus, MINI, Porsche and Toyota. With a turnover of €250 million, Jacksons is one of the largest dealer groups in the UK. Headquartered in Jersey, the company employs 500 people and offers sales, maintenance, repair and financing at all locations.
