Riots over Princess Delphine’s outfit on a national holiday: “Shamelessly copied”

Even though our national holiday was in full swing, a riot broke out in the aftermath about Princess Delphine’s choice of outfit. He was accused by designer Andrew Gn of copying Kate Middleton’s clothes.

Riot in Great Britain. And then about our own princess Delphine outfit on July 21st. She appeared in a colorful dress from Belgian Atelier ExC, combined with a pair of shoes from the Antwerp label Morobé.

And it was precisely the dress that went wrong with designer Andrew Gn, who was born in Singapore but has his own label in London. On social media, he accused Princess Delphine of copying his creations for Kate Middleton. “Shameless imitator,” he explains in one of his books story.

If you look at Middleton’s dress, a green gown with a bootcut neckline and rows of buttons, you will indeed notice some similarities. Fashionistas will also take note that both dresses are inspired by Chanel’s timeless designs from the 1960s. Whether this really concerns plagiarism remains to be seen. The debate continues online.
