La Liga becomes Clwb Pêl Droed Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyr-ndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch FC shirt sponsor | Foreign football

The uniform of Clwb Pêl Droed Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch Football Club (abbreviated as CPD Llanfairpwll FC) from Wales will now be emblazoned with the La Liga logo with the motto: two of the biggest names in world football join forces.

The club will be in action for the first time in the new kit on Saturday when Llanfairpwll take on Holyhead Town FC in North Wales West Coast Division One. The club’s sponsorship of the record name stems in part from the fact that CPD Llanfairpwll FC will celebrate its 125th anniversary in 2024. For La Liga, this is an exciting way to further promote its brand.

“In our new brand positioning, this collaboration is a great way to creatively bring to life our new ‘LL’ visual identity,” said Keegan Pierce, who represents the interests of the Spanish league in the UK and Ireland.

Top scorer Marquis Holland is now a fan of Spanish football. “With La Liga on our shirt, we have an extra boost. We are watching more and more Spanish football with stars like Robert Lewandowski, Antoine Griezmann and Jude Bellingham.”
