Cyclist Siebe Roesems organizes the region’s first Hill Climb

Always wanted to participate in real-time trials? Is there a competitive animal hidden inside you? Or do you just want to have a fun and sporty Sunday afternoon? Then register via these links and came to the Hill Climb on April 16th starting at 1pm.

Hill Climb is an off-road climbing time trial in which anyone with a bike can and can participate. In the UK it is very common, but in our area it is not yet known.

Siebe Roesems, a cyclist with the Alpecin-Deceuninck Mathieu Van der Poel team, thought it was time to change this. For his Business Management studies, sport of choice and culture management, at Thomas More Hogeschool, he had to organize a real event of the year from A to Z. After a brainstorming session, he found the right partners at the Falco bike and coffee bar from Halle to the start of the Hill Climb the first to be held in the region.

On April 16th, you can participate in this event which will take place in the Lindegroen room in Buizingen. Both men, women and children aged +12 can participate. The winner becomes the King and Queen of the Vault and gains eternal fame as the event’s first winner. Professionals with official timing with transponders, but this shouldn’t dissuade the recreational enthusiast. The goal is to make it a fun and sporty afternoon. You can also ensure that student cyclists successfully complete their assignments for school. The Amstel Gold Race can be followed on a big screen and there are prizes for all participants.
