Beyoncé plays poker | Top 40 News

In its sixth week, Froukje took Tipparade’s number 1 spot alongside Kwijt.

Justin Timberlake returned with Selfish a few weeks ago. This single seems to be on its way to the Top 40, now rising from number 7 to number 3 in its fourth week. Apart from that, the top 10 is quite stable, except for Beat Of Your Heart by Purple Disco Machine and Ásdís (from 13th to 7th). Outside the top 10, “Queen Bey” stole the show with the highest entry at 12 with Texas Hold ‘Em. Right behind that, the gentlemen of Nothing But Thieves hit the quickest climb of the week with Oh No :: He Said What? (from 26 to 16).

You can find this week’s complete Parade Tips here. Below we introduce 7 newcomers to you.

12 (–) TEXAS HOLD ‘EM – Beyoncé
Beyoncé is back! This American superstar appeared at the Super Bowl. He did this very subtly, so he almost went unnoticed at first. That changed when he announced his new album Renaissance Act II in a commercial. Two singles were released directly from this album: 16 Carriages and Texas Hold ‘Em. The latter is the highest entry this week.

13 (–) CARNIVAL – Kanye West & Ty Dolla $ign

24 (–) SWEET SALT ACID – Robert van Hemert
Meet Robert van Hemert, a 30-year-old folk singer from Leiden. That’s uncle Mart Hoogkamer and you can hear him a little bit. Robert is now working hard and won the De Hollandse Nieuwe program last year. Her single Zoet Zout Zuur was then released in May, but only now seems to have really taken off.

27 (–) PERFECT (EXCEEDER) – David Guetta x Mason x Princess Superstar
The name Iason Chronis may not mean much to you, but perhaps his stage name does. Mason scored a top 3 hit in the UK with Princess Superstar 17 years ago with Perfect (Exceeder). The Amsterdam DJ and producer reached seventeenth place in the Dutch Top 40. Like Sophie Ellis-Bextor’s Murder On The Dancefloor, Perfect (Exceeder) got a boost when it featured in the film Saltburn. The song is used in thousands of videos on TikTok. David Guetta was interested in the remix and now it’s out.

28 (–) SUMMER AT M’N BOL – Kris Kross Amsterdam x Donnie x Tino Martin
Earlier this month, the gentlemen of Kris Kross Amsterdam took home the award for ‘Best DJ Act nationwide’ at the Qmusic Top 40 Awards Live. The men do not remain silent, because after the success of Stay (Never Leave) with Sera and Conor Maynard, now there is Zomer In M’n Bol: a remake of André Hazes’ Zomer (#8 of 1991). Donnie and Tino Martin also return.

29 (–) TRAINING SEASON – Dua Lipa
Dua Lipa continues to deliver hit after hit. Houdini has been in the top 3 and only for a few weeks, but the successor Training Season is already on the way. During the Grammy Awards on February 4, the British-Albanian singer performed a medley of Houdini and his new single. Dance The Night, for which he was nominated twice, was also heard. Both Houdini and Training Season will appear on Dua Lipa’s upcoming third studio album, the exact release date of which is still unknown.

30 (–) LOVERS IN A PAST LIFE – Calvin Harris & Rag’n’Bone Man
While Calvin Harris’ career is still going crazy, it’s different with Rag’n’Bone Man. In 2019, Rory Graham, as he is known, scored his final hit on Giant with Calvin Harris (#4). The same DJ can now bring it back into the spotlight with Lovers In A Past Life. Calvin announced on Instagram earlier this week that he was returning to Ushuaïa in Ibiza (including parts of his new song), where he will perform several times this summer.
