“The public naturally expects the government to be run properly, competently and earnestly,” which is not currently the case, said Sunak in his resignation letter.

The official claimed to be “loyal” and to have supported the conservative leader publicly, even when he disagreed with him “in private”, and that he was trying to support the prime minister’s priorities with financial funds. However, he criticized that the president was not willing to make “tough decisions” in the economy and that made them disagree in their approach, to the point that the chancellor’s so-called Minister of Finance has voted to resign.

Javid, for his part, admits that he cannot, “in good conscience, continue to serve in this Government.” “I am a team man by instinct but British citizens have the right to expect integrity in government”he pointed.

The outgoing health minister confirmed that the problem was the Conservative Party “It wouldn’t get done under” Johnson, so he “lost faith in it”.

The resignation came as Johnson apologized for what he said was a mistake in not realizing it Chris Pincher he was unfit for government office after sexual misconduct charges were filed against him.

“In retrospect, that was a mistake. I apologize to everyone who has been affected by it.”the British president told the media.

Johnson has been under pressure to explain what he knows about MP Chris Pincher’s previous misconduct allegations since Thursday, when Pincher resigned as deputy boss amid complaints that he groped two men at a private club.

The government’s explanation has changed repeatedly in the last five days, with ministers initially saying Johnson was unaware of the previous sexual misconduct allegations when he promoted Pincher to deputy chief in February. for Monday, A spokesperson said Johnson was aware of allegations that “were resolved or did not develop into a formal complaint.”.

That doesn’t sit well with Simon McDonald, the top official at the Foreign Office from 2015 to 2020. In a highly unusual move, he said on Tuesday that the prime minister’s office was still not telling the truth. He Time from London published an analysis of the situation on Tuesday under the headlines “The affirmation of lies puts Boris Johnson in danger.”

The scandal comes a month after Johnson survived a no-confidence vote in which more than 40% of Conservative MPs voted to remove him from office. Concerns about Johnson’s leadership were fueled by a shift in the prime minister’s response to months of allegations of partying lockdown violators in government offices that ultimately resulted in 126 fines, including one imposed on Johnson.

Given this context, the departure of two key ministers undermines Johnson’s position, beleaguered by scandals, and means, if there are more departures, the Government could even collapse.
