Last year it was driven by a Dutch truck 2.5 million tons goods transported to England. The share of Dutch trucks in road transport to the UK is decreasing
Of all goods transported by road to the UK in 2014, more than a quarter were transported by UK trucks. Dutch trucks carry a lot of space 8 percent of that item. Among foreign carriers, only Polish and Irish vehicles transported more goods to the UK than Dutch vehicles.
However, in 2005 the portion of goods transported by Dutch trucks was (12 percent) bigger than now. Polish trucks started transporting more goods and increased their share significantly. They still had it in 2005 (the year after Poland joined the EU). 4.5 percent share, in 2014 it increased to 17.5 percent. Polish trucks are increasingly loading goods for the UK in the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium and France.

International road transport from the UK focuses primarily on Ireland
Instead, the trucks are made in England 44 thousand crossed into the Netherlands in 2014. Crossings were most frequently made to North Brabant, followed by the provinces of South and North Holland. They haul in total 356 thousand tons of goods, especially foodstuffs, chemicals and general cargo.

In 2014, the UK’s total road vehicle output 785 thousand international travel from their home country where they are 9.3 million tons of goods transported. Every 100 tons has area 60 tons as a destination for neighboring Ireland. More than 80 percent of whom came from Northern Ireland. In mainland Europe, British trucks mostly go to France, followed by Belgium and Germany. With a share of almost 4 percent of all goods transported, the Netherlands is the fifth destination for UK road vehicles.
