Announcement of the ban triggers social network reactions. The giant filed a lawsuit with a purpose “protects businesses and hundreds of users”.

The same idea was shared by five network users: they filed a lawsuit with a Montana court. In general, all were of the opinion that the action violated the right to freedom of expression.

Moreover, for some opponents of the measure, these are issues related to national security, ie decisions may not be made independently in the state.

Meanwhile, some US politicians defended the decision, considering the company to be under the control of the Chinese government and it could be an espionage strategy to serve Beijing.

For example, governor of Montana himself said on his Twitter account that he supports the ban. To him the reason behind the action was: “PProtecting the private and private data of Montanans from the Chinese Communist Party.”

In March this year, Shou Zi Chew, CEO of TikTok confronted Republicans and Democrats in the US Congress to respond to the idea ‘China power’, through social networks, has infiltrated North American society and wreak havoc on the user’s physical and mental health.

Chew continues to promote measures to reassure the US, the most recently adopted in that country leaving the job of storing and monitoring the data of US citizens in charge of companies in this country.

However, it’s not just the state of Montana that has banned TikTok. English do the same and apply it to state legislators, do the same European Commission And Australia on government-owned mobile devices.
