The Crown season 6: release date, cast & spoilers

After a long wait, the time has finally come: Netflix announced that you can watch season 6 Crown can be watched on streaming services starting this date. We list for you what you can expect, who will play in the final season and, most importantly, when you can finally watch it drunken party. Crown is based on historical events of the British Royal Family. It depicts the personal and political life of Queen Elizabeth in a fictional manner, based on real events. In previous seasons of the drama (such as season 5), we saw events spanning decades in one season. But in the final season Crown The ten year events are spread over two seasons for more details.

Car accident

The first part of the final season will be broadcast November 16 appears on Netflix. In the first four episodes, you will see how Princess Diana and Dodi Fayed’s relationship developed, before it ended badly due to a car accident in 1977. The second part, spread over six episodes, comes from December 24 available on Netflix. In this section, you’ll see how the fairy tale continues to unfold between Prince Charles and Princess Camilla and how the wedding — which lasted two days — became a happy moment in the history of the British monarchy.

Season 6 storyline

Final season Crown focuses on the period from 1997 to 2005, when Tony Blair (Bertie Cavel) was British Prime Minister. Princess Diana’s death would also play a very important role. We see this especially when Prince William returns to Eton College, while his family struggles with changing public opinion. Queen Elizabeth celebrates her Golden Jubilee, contemplating the future of the monarchy with Charles and Camilla as future king and queen. A new fairy tale begins between William and Kate.

Cast

In the final season we will see many familiar faces, except for a few new actors. For example, we will see Rufus Kampa appearing as Prince William and Fflyn Edwards as Prince Harry. These two actors appear promising. A thorough casting process was held for Kate Middleton’s arrival in season 6, with Meg Bellamy ultimately playing the role of Princess of Wales. Imelda Staunton will also reprise her role as Queen Elizabeth, accompanied by Jonathan Pryce (Prince Philip) and Lesley Manville (Princess Margaret).

Unfortunately, after season 6 we really have to say goodbye to this impressive series about England nobleman.
