Refugee law passed in UK causing controversy

UK MPs despite criticism that it violates international law, have issued a legal action detail that will significantly reduce immigrant asylum rights inside it great Britain. The Illegal Migration Act movement was approved by 289 votes to 230 by the lower house of parliament. Today’s motion will be sent to the House of Lords from the House of Commons and will be strongly opposed here. But the unelected upper house of parliament only has the right to amend, delaying the motion but not preventing it.

Prime Minister Rishi Sunak made this motion one of his top five priorities. In the past year the government has made it a crime for refugees to enter the UK without permission or without a visa. Once the new law is approved, anyone arriving by small boat will be prevented from applying for asylum, they will be exiled to a third country deemed safe such as Rwanda or their true homeland. Those arriving in the UK without a visa or special permit will be prevented from entering. Critics and some charities claim that the advice is impractical and unethical and demonizes refugees.
