Larry de Koning van Hockenheim and Loek Hartog delivered a double win for the Elite GP

Two-time champion Larry ten Voorde beat teammate Loek Hartog from the start and was able to hold his ground with force majeure in the 17-lap race. Larry ten Voorde: “My last race in the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup is still fresh in my memory. From pole position I lost the duel and came second. Loek Hartog: “I’m not very happy because I didn’t manage to turn my pole position into a win, but at least I got a lot of points and it’s very important for the championship. But of course it’s great for our GP Elite Team. Harrie King managed to outwit Leon Köhler (Huber Racing) almost immediately. Harry King: “In qualifying I had some problems but during the race it went perfectly for me. Now I’m looking forward to the second race on Sunday from which I will start from pole.” Leon Köhler finished fifth.
