New international (online) dressage competition for Friesian horses

Starting January 1 2023, UKFS (United Kingdom Friesian Studbook) will be organizing an online dressage competition for Friesian horses for a year. Participants from the UK and overseas can register and participate.

Up to level Z2

Participants drive the British Dressage Association dressage test at home, film it, and submit it. The trial will be judged online by a qualified UK jury. You can participate from BB class, which is called ‘Introduction’ in the UK and without canters, all the way up to about Z2 class. In this class fly substitution must be demonstrated and is called ‘Advanced Medium’ in the UK.

Prices and roses

The competition takes place from 1 January to 31 December 2023 and the competition will be held every month. At the end of the year, the combination with the highest score will be rewarded with various prizes and roses, provided by UKFS.

Participation for Frisia registered

Participation in the competition is open to Friesian horses registered worldwide and registration can be made on the website Dressageanywhere.com, which are well known for their online competitions. All rules and conditions are clearly explained here, some things are different from KNHS rules, so read them carefully.
