After years of absence, Victor is Hugo’s classic Les Miserables can now be seen again in Dutch cinemas. This top production has been given a new look and is now grander and more exciting than ever. The main roles were played by Milan van Waardenburg, Freek Bartels and Vajèn van de Bosch.
This has been happening for decades Les Miserables around the world as an audience favorite. This musical has won many Tony Awards, Oscars, Grammys, and Musical Awards. Joop van den Ende’s production also achieved unprecedented success in our country. In the 1990s, this role was played by, among others, Pia Douwes, Henk Poort, Ernst-Daniel Smit, Simone Kleinsma and Paul de Leeuw. In the next version of 2008 we see, among others, René van Kooten, Jamai Loman and Carlo Boszhard on the podium.

De Graaf & Cornelissen Entertainment is now bringing producer Cameron Mackintosch’s major production back to the Netherlands. No less than 15 trailers were needed to transport the set from England! Once again, a stellar cast has been chosen to convey Hugo’s story to the audience. Milan van Waardenburg, René van Kooten, Freek Bartels, Vajèn van den Bosch and Ellen Pieters, among others, will appear.
Les Misérables – the story
Victor Hugo tells it Les Miserables A moving story about freedom, friendship and love. Poverty was rampant in France in the 19th century. After 19 years in a prison camp, freedom seems within reach for Jean Valjean, but it is beyond him, Javert. Valjean tries to start over with a new identity, but he has difficulty forgetting his past. Meanwhile, Javert did not hesitate to do everything he could to catch him again. Will Valjean be able to complete his quest for freedom?
Rain gifts
Les Miserables has been able to count on a warm welcome and a large number of visitors in recent months. During the Music Awards presentation, the production was the big winner with no less than six awards. In early July, players were awarded the Double Platinum Ticket Award for 250,000 tickets sold.
