Guidelines for ‘Politics for Everyone!’ helps with real tips to make election expressions and events (online and physical) more accessible. For example, tips for easy-to-access websites, text in plain language, and easy-to-access event locations.

Creation of guidelines
Guidelines for ‘Politics for Everyone!’ commissioned by the Ministry of Home Affairs and Government Relations. This guide was created by ProDemos in collaboration with Each person, Reading & Writing Foundation And Knowledge of Seeing.
The guidance is one of 11 actions for 2021 Accessible Voting Action Plan. The aim of the action plan ahead of regional elections in 2022 is to increase election accessibility so that people with disabilities or low literacy levels can exercise their democratic rights, just like everyone else. This guide was updated in November 2022 in light of the Provincial Council elections and water board elections on March 15, 2023.
