The Authority for Reconstruction with Change (ARCC) will soon serve the new Chulucanas hospital population, in the Piura region, a work which is already in its final stages and whose rooms were visited by the executive director(e) of the entity , Raphael Anaya; and the Minister of Health, Rosa Gutiérrez.
After reviewing the facilities the two authorities agreed on the need to advance sending hospitals to join efforts to fight dengue fever in the region.
In this sense, Anaya proposed it coordinating with Minsa to activate and provide, on short notice, emergency and inpatient rooms and, later, external consulting areas.
The inventory process will also be carried out jointly to speed up and be able to deliver more areas to serve the community, said the official.
In turn, the head of Health determines that together with ARCC, the entity that built Chulucanas Hospitalwill be coordinated to prioritize gradual delivery to other areas.
As for Castilla’s health center, whose current level is I-4, Minister Gutierrez emphasized that steps are being taken to level it up to II-1 and may also offer inpatient services.
He Hospital de Chulucanas and the Castilla medical center will benefit around 333,000 people and their joint investment is S/252 million. Both works are being built as part of a Government to Government Agreement with the UK.
