If you want to go overseas by train, you have to factor in delays and cancellations. For example, there are no trains going to and from Austria on November 28. Night trains will be canceled from Sunday evening. Rail travelers to Belgium and the UK have also been hit hard.

Austria

Austrian railroads and unions tried in vain on Sunday to prevent a strike. There will be no trains all day on Monday. About 50 night trains will be canceled on Sunday, incl Amsterdam – Vienna night train and Amsterdam–Innsbruck (and vice versa). Trains can also be canceled on Tuesdays.

Also in Belgium, part of the Belgian railway staff has announced it will stop working.
