UK returns to Eurovision Junior Song Contest after 17 years – Songfestival.be

I can’t wait to unveil our own musical talent who will proudly represent the UK.

It is not yet known who will represent England. The selection process appears to be already underway. CBBC, the BBC’s version of Ketnet, will look for the most suitable candidates together with BBC Studios Entertainment & Music. By the way, fun fact: England is following trend of recent years with the host country of the future Song Contest returns to the children’s version. For example: in 2017 Salvador Sobral won for Portugal. The Portuguese made their comeback to the Eurovision Junior Song Contest that year.

This year’s Eurovision Junior Song Contest will take place on December 11 in the Armenian capital, Yerevan.
