Tropicana Corporation Berhad announces the appointment of Mr. Din Tan Yong Chia as Executive Director. Change date is July 20, 2023. Age 30 years.
Mr. Din Tan Yong Chia graduated in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Management from Cass Business School, City University, London. He earned his Master of Science in Management with Information Systems and Digital Innovation from the London School of Economics and Political Science, UK in 2015. After an internship at Morgan Stanley in their Private Wealth Management division, Din Tan Yong Chia took a year in the Digital Marketing division at a local technology start-up, before joining the Marketing division of Tropicana Corporation Berhad Group.
Din Tan Yong Chia’s father, Tan Sri Dato’ Tan Chee Sing, is the Group’s Executive Vice Chairman and major shareholder of Tropicana Corporation Berhad (“Tropicana”). His brother, Mr. Dion Tan Yong Chien, is the Managing Director of the Tropicana Group and Dato’ Dickson Tan Yong Loong, is the Non-Executive Director of the Tropicana Group. His brother-in-law Mr Jared Ang Tzer Shen is the Executive Director of Tropicana.
