If your trip will be less than 6 months, here’s what you should calculate, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs:

1. Have a passport. This is a basic requirement for leaving the country and UK authorities will request it upon arrival.

2. Have sufficient economic resources to pay for your trip. They will ask you to show that you have the necessary funds for yourself and your dependents.

3. Solvability to pay for your trip returnone of or to continue your journey to another country.

4. Guarantee that you will not stay in the UK permanently or that it will become your primary residence through frequent visits.

5. Indicate that you will be leaving the country once your visit is complete.

(See: Iberia will offer two daily flights between Colombia and Spain).

Under these parameters set by the British authorities, you will most likely have no trouble logging in. However, the final decision is entirely up to the immigration authorities.

In addition, the Colombian Ministry of Foreign Affairs recommends purchasing health insurance that covers all people traveling abroad.
