Belgium will play a historic match against Sweden in the quarter-finals of the European Women’s Football Championship on Friday night (tonight). This country has never gotten this far in the finals. Guard Nicky Evrard had a big hand in that. On the other hand, he also threw a party off the field!
The 27-year-old former FC Twente goalkeeper is selling a bouncy castle. The way he got this particular job is a very good story.
Castle in the air
Evrard was trying to organize sports and soccer camps and thought it would be fun to buy a bouncy castle for the brothers and sisters going to camp. When we arrived, the owner had a very specific question: “When we were about to buy it, the seller surprised me by asking if I was interested in taking over his company.”
‘Still living with parents’
He had to think about it for a bit, but thought he could use some extra financial stability. “I can live off football because I still live with my parents and have few fixed costs. But I also want financial stability. And on my days off and during holidays I need something to keep me busy,” he said in an interview with UEFA.
The first company consisted of 6 castles in the air, now there are 9 of them. So business is going well!
