If you want to see soccer stars Cristiano Ronaldo, Sadio Mané and Karim Benzema at work, you can visit DAZN. The sports platform, which also broadcasts the Belgian Jupiler Pro League, acquired the broadcasting rights to the Saudi football league.

The list of football stars who have moved to Saudi Arabia this summer is astounding. Karim Benzema, Sadio Mané, Jordan Henderson and Roberto Firmino, among others, accompanied Cristiano Ronaldo in the Roshn Saudi League.

The star ensemble has now also convinced sports platform DAZN to acquire the broadcasting rights of the Saudi football league. Each week, three Saudi League matches will be broadcast in Belgium (and England, Ireland, Germany, Austria and Canada).

All matches of Al Nassr, Cristiano Ronaldo’s club, will also be broadcast. DAZN took over last summer Eleven, which has expanded its offerings in Belgium with the Jupiler Pro League, Challenger Pro League and Lotto Super League.

“DAZN is in constant dialogue with football leagues, leagues and associations to find the best deals in sports and entertainment,” said CEO Shay Segev. “The Saudi League is rapidly developing into an international phenomenon and attracting several world footballers who will take the competition to the next level. This is a very good opportunity for DAZN to pay more attention to the Saudi league, clubs and sport in general.’

The Saudi league kicks off on Friday, August 11 with Al Expert against Al Hazem, or the debuts of Riyad Mahrez and Allan Saint-Maximin.
