On Sunday, April 7, several Frisian combinations appeared at the start of the Subtop competition in Harlingen, Friesland. No fewer than four of the nine combinations in the Little Tour represent the Frisian breed. The best results in this class were achieved by Maaike de Jong and Filou SB Ster AA (Tjalf 433) who finished third in Intermediaire I with 64.04%.
Debutante
For Auke van Hilberalti Ster Sport (Jouwe 485) and Uwkje C.Ster Sport Preferent Prestatie (Beart 411) this is their debut in the Prix St. class. Auke and his rider Kenna Bakker achieved 61.10%, Uwkje and Tahnee Visser achieved 61.18%. The eighteen-year-old mare went one better by making her debut at Intermédiaire I and winning there with 60.51%. KFPS studbook stallion Alger 522 previously raced sub-top with Jacob van der Heide and with a gain of 60.22% they are one step closer to the Elite title.
Second place
In the ZZ-Zwaar class, Rianne de Jong -Struijs and Weard Wylgster fan Pragt Ster Sport (Hinne 427) rose to 61.21% on the Stoeterij Horsea, which was good for second place. The day before, Cayenne Stables’ Zoë Kuintjes and Tanco, the pedigree name of Tanco Berltsum Ster Sport Elite A (Epke 474), occupied the same podium. In Wormerveer, North Holland, the combination of Aalsmeer reached 64.63%.
