Solar Magazine – Trina Solar supplies solar panels for the Dutch Low Carbon solar park

The agreement has a term of 3 years and concerns not only the supply of solar panels for solar parks in the Netherlands, but also in Great Britain.

Security
Establishing a framework agreement with Trina Solar gives Low Carbon security for its project pipeline and will speed up the process for future orders, with Low Carbon already securing a peak 1 gigawatt of production volume.

For first project deliveries in the Netherlands and the UK, Low Carbon selected the latest generation of Trina Solar Vertex solar panels. The recently launched Vertex N TSM-NEG19RC.20 solar panel is equipped with a 210 x 210 mm wafer-based solar cell. The solar cells are manufactured using n-type i-TOPCon cell technology.

logical choice
Justin Thesiger, Director of Operations & Asset Management at Low Carbon, commented on the partnership with Trina Solar: “This agreement marks an important milestone for our company as we expand our global renewable energy portfolio. Their high bankability and ability to commit to high shipment volumes upfront made Trina Solar a logical choice.’
