2023 Rock Empire Festival has announced a new merger after the withdrawal suffocationwho today revealed that they are canceling their summer European tour due to health reasons.

After this unexpected incident, the Cartagena festival incorporates the people of Madrid into its posters worm.

«Finally Suffocation canceled their European tour scheduled for this summer due to health reasons and being unable to attend the Rock Imperium Festival 2023. Here is their statement:

“It is with great regret that we have to announce the cancellation of our scheduled June/July 2023 summer tour in Europe/UK. As many of you know, we toured Europe last month and during this tour several members of the band experienced extreme physical strain resulting in injuries which prevented us from returning to the area less than a month after our previous tour.

While it is not our intention to cancel any tour, the health of our bandmates is key to carrying on for the rest of the year and these members need to rest properly and recover from the injuries sustained during this tour. The physical strain that touring puts on a musician’s body manifests itself in many ways that are beyond our control.

We have a lot of work to do for the rest of the year, including writing and finalizing our new album and we look forward to returning to one of our favorite territories and fans in the EU/UK bringing Suffocation in full force, fire and thump with you all.

As you all know, Suffocation gives their all for our live shows and we want to make sure the fans push it forward. Health and safety is our number one priority to ensure we can provide it to you for the remainder of 2023 and beyond.”
