The Renault Mégane RS has road durability thanks to its Cup chassis with limited-slip differential. The Mégane RS 275 Trophy is also equipped with a Cup chassis as standard. However, for the first time, Renault Sport has teamed up with damper specialist Öhlins to offer an adjustable Road/Track damper option.
Renault Sport engineers have given the two-liter engine for the Mégane RS 275 Trophy an extra 10 hp (7 kW) of power. Consumption and CO2 emissions remain unchanged (7.5 l/100 km and 174 g CO2/km). The maximum torque is 360 Nm. Enthusiasts will appreciate the sporty sound of the Akrapovič titanium exhaust system, with a carbon fiber muffler.
For those who regularly visit the circuit with a Mégane RS 275 Trophy, Renault Sport offers Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires as an option. Michelin developed this tire specifically for sporty hatchbacks. Black Speedline Turini 19-inch alloy wheels, which are also used on the competition version of the Renault Mégane, are also on the options list.
The typical F1 spoiler is finished in Platine Grey. The trophy emblem is applied to the side of the body. The Platine Gray color is also reflected in the checkered flag at the bottom of the door. The production number on the door frame emphasizes the exclusivity of the model.
The Recaro bucket seats are upholstered in leather and Alcantara finished with red stitching, just like the rear seats. The Renault Sport logo is stitched into the headrests.
The Renault Mégane RS 275 Trophy will be marketed in twenty countries around the world, including Australia, the UK, Malaysia, Germany and South Africa. This model does not ship in the Netherlands.
