HOSPITAL Quironsalud Malaga has entered the TOP 50 best hospitals in Spain in the rating World’s Best Hospital 2023 from the prestigious Newsweek magazine as the best private hospital in Andalusia and the best hospital in Malaga taking into account public and private management.
Quirónsalud Málaga repeats its presence on this list for the fourth year in a row and increased its ratings and ratings compared to last yearrising from the 35th position it held in 2022, to 32nd in the 2023 rankings.
Quirónsalud Sagrado Corazón Hospital is one of the Quirónsalud group hospitals that once again appears in the list (41st place), being, together with Quirónsalud Málaga Hospital, the only private hospital in Andalusia between The 50 best hospitals in Spain and two of the three best that appear in the TOP 100.
This is also a highlight Jiménez Díaz Foundation University Hospital as one of 13 Spanish centers included in the general classification 250 of the best hospitals in the worldaccording to ratings derived from the recommendations of more than 80,000 healthcare professionals, various survey results on patient experience and key indicators of quality of care.

In the case of Spain, the classification of the 100 best hospitals in the country includes Jiménez Díaz Foundation University Hospital (9th), Ruber International Hospital (15th), Barcelona Quirónsalud Hospital (17th), Teknon Medical Center (18th), Madrid Quirónsalud University Hospital (19th ), Dexeus University Hospital (21st), Quironsalud Málaga Hospital (32nd ), Sagrat Cor University Hospital (36th), Quironsalud Sagrado Corazón Hospital (41st), Rey Juan Carlos University Hospital (62nd), Catalonia General University Hospital (90th) and La Luz University Hospital (91st).
Likewise, in this issue, Newsweek magazine combines for the second year in a row the classification of the best hospitals in Colombia, which includes the three centers that make up the Quirónsalud healthcare network in this Latin American country: Imbanaco Clinic (7), Medellín Clinic (11) and Prado Clinic (26).
Since its founding in 1933, Newsweek magazine has reported on advances in medicine, science, and health promotion. In the 2023 edition, it has included more than 2,200 health institutions out of the total 28 countries: United States, Germany, Japan, South Korea, France, Italy, United Kingdom, Spain, Brazil, Canada, India, Australia, Mexico, Netherlands, Austria, Thailand, Switzerland, Sweden, Belgium, Finland, Norway, Denmark, Israel, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Colombia and Taiwan.
Late last year, the magazine was published the last edition of his ranking The World’s Best Specialty Hospital 2023 (the best specialized hospitals in the world), including five Quirónsalud hospitals among the best in the world in various medical specialties. Specific, Ruber Internacional emerges among the best hospitals in the world in the specialty Neurology and Oncology.
