On Tuesday, Peter Gabriel announced the dates of his i/o The Tour, which will take him to 22 cities across the UK and Europe. On Monday 5 June 2023 he will have a concert at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam. Ticket sales for this concert will start on Friday 11 November at 10:00 WIB.
The new tour marks Peter’s first solo gig outside of North America since 2014’s Back To Front Tour, which featured the album So. On 18 May 2023, the tour kicked off in Krakow, Poland and continued to cities in Italy, France, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. The European leg of the tour ended in Dublin, Ireland, on June 25, before landing in North America. Dates and ticket information will be announced later.
During i/o – The Tour, Gabriel will play new songs from his upcoming album i/o and delve into his unrivaled music catalog, featuring hits and audience favourites. He was accompanied by regular band members Tony Levin, David Rhodes and Manu Katché. Full details about i/o’s new album will be announced at a later date.

Peter Gabriel first rose to international fame with the band Origin which he co-founded while still in school. Since he left Genesis in 1975, he has released eleven studio albums, several soundtracks for the films Birdy, The Last Temptation Of Christ and Rabbit Proof Fence, and many live albums. Between 1977 and 1993 he had seven hits in the Top 40, including the top 10 hits sledgehammer and Don’t give up from 1986. He has also won several Grammy Awards.
