In 1995, the 22 year old song was revived by Bert Heerink.

Julie July translated into Dutch by Harry Kramp. Kramp previously did this with the European number 1 hit, The Final Countdown, which was rebuilt in that capacity into De Zon In De Winter. This eventually became the music for the beer campaign. Bert Heerink made his breakthrough in the 1980s with Dutch hard rock band Vandenberg, who entered the Top 40 twice in 1983 with Burning Heart and Different Worlds. Big Brother Louie from Hot Chocolate is treated for Julie July. The group around Errol Brown broke through in England where it happened in our country with Emma.

Heerink has sung in a number of commercials for beer maker Heineken, resulting in the album Storm Na De Stkeek. Dutch versions of classic English pop music are used. Barry Hay, Jaap Eggermond, Peter Koelewijn and Huub van der Lubbe among others wrote songs on the collection. Solos for Bert Heerink remained with one hit with Julie July where he stuck at Tipparade with arrangements of Burning Heart, Isn’t It Time and Long Time Running.
