Blow from Oleta Adams became a top 5 hit in the United States and the United Kingdom, and remained in the Dutch Top 40 at number 27. The original song was recorded by Brenda Russell in 1988. Brenda often sings with her husband Brian as a backing choir for Elton John and Neil Sedaka, but also producing solo works for Joni Mitchell and Diana Ross. Russell recorded it on the album of the same name Get Here, which also contains the song Piano In The Dark. And you probably know that number through Bingo player who used it as inspiration for Cry (Just A Little) in 2011.
