Orient Overseas (International) Limited has announced that Mr. HUANG Xiaowen has resigned as Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Company, effective October 25, 2023, and is no longer a member of the Executive Committee and Chairman of the Insider Information Committee. , Risk Committee and Strategic Development Committee of the company. Mr. CHEN Yangfan has been appointed as the Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Company, as well as a member of the Executive Committee and Chairman of the Company’s Insider Committee, Risk Committee and Strategic Development Committee. Mr. Chen (former name: Yang Fan), 47 years old, currently serves as Deputy General Manager and Party Committee Member of China COSCO SHIPPING Corporation Limited.

Mr. Chen served as general manager of the international business center, deputy general manager of the group customer center, general manager of the product innovation department, and general manager of the Internet operations department of China United Network Communications Limited Shanghai branch (a company registered in Shanghai), manager of the first division and division third, a deputy general manager and general manager of the product innovation department, a general manager of the information security department, a general manager of the Internet operations department, a general manager of the industrial Internet product center, and a senior vice president of the government and enterprise customer business group at the headquarters of China United Network Communications Group Co. Ltd., and Party Secretary and General Manager of Guizhou Branch of China United Network Communications Limited. Mr. Chen has 25 years of experience in information technology and business management, with extensive experience in information technology, the Internet, and digital operations management.

Since November 2021, he has served as deputy general manager and member of the Party Committee of China COSCO SHIPPING Corporation Limited. Mr. Chen graduated from the University of Essex in England with a master’s degree in telecommunications and information systems and is an engineer. Mr. Chen has signed a letter of appointment with the Company as Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Company, for a term of three years effective October 25, 2023, unless either party provides six months prior written notice to the other party to terminate the appointment.

Mr. Chen will serve until the next annual general meeting of the Company and is entitled to be re-elected at such meeting, and may resign on a rolling basis and be re-elected at any subsequent annual general meeting of the Company in accordance with the Bylaws of the Company. Mr. Chen does not have an employment contract with the Company.
