This year’s Orange Competition starts at 10am!

DE BILT Thanks to the involvement of various entrepreneurs and the efforts of a group of volunteers, the organization was once again able to continue the tradition. This time with a beautiful release area and of course with varied events! From around 10 am to 5 pm you can enjoy the beauty of horse riding.

Tent This year the horses will be on the other side (in a familiar spot opposite the Jagtlust Town Hall in Bilthoven), hopefully in the sun and in a slightly bigger ring, which will make the horses look even prettier.

In the tent in collaboration with Local Heroes there will also be a equestrian bar opened, so visitors to the competition ring can also be treated to snacks!

This year there is scoop Class GIG Private Drive. A special class is held at 2.50pm with Harness horses and Hackney’s, where points are awarded for the care and correctness of the harness, the performance of the horse or pony, and how it is ridden. This way of presenting, which originates from America and England, emphasizes the free and happy appearance of the horse, which we always try to strive for, but is emphasized through this piece.

There are also pairs demonstration:

+/- 11.45: Mechteld van der Kooij – Jonker will give a demo on animal-friendly horse training for sport riding

at +/- 13.20 : Fam. Vogelpoel will provide a marathon demonstration in collaboration with the Killesteyn riders.

Admission is free and there are plenty of seats on site. Program booklets are sold on site!
