The test has been accepted by the UK’s official medical board for two years and is now also recognized by immigration authorities.

What sets OET apart from other English exams is that it is specifically designed for the healthcare sector and therefore uses real situations similar to those faced by healthcare professionals in everyday settings. Oral and written expression tests adapted to the 12 health-related professions evaluated. So, for example, tests for nurses are different from tests proposed to evaluate physiotherapists.

In Spain, the test is available at authorized centers in Madrid, Barcelona, ​​Santiago de Compostela and Granada.
