Google’s search engine is bringing more of its products to the Gemini ecosystem, also in name. From now on, Bard will be called Gemini, with its own words reflecting the advanced technology at its core. It will be available on the web, in the new Gemini app for Android, and through the Google app on iOS.
Google reported the following innovations to editors:
- Google also launched Gemini Advanced – a new experience that gives you access to Ultra 1.0, Google’s largest and most advanced AI model yet.
- Gemini Advanced is available through the new Google One AI Premium subscription, which is also available starting Thursday for €21.99. Gemini Advanced is available starting today in 150 countries in English – including the Netherlands.
- Duet AI becomes Gemini for Google Workspace and Google Cloud. Customers with the Google One AI Premium plan will soon be able to use Gemini in Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Meet.
- Gemini powered by Pro (previous version of Gemini) is available in Dutch and Dutch.
Unfortunately, the Gemini App is not yet available in the Netherlands, according to Google. ‘The app is launching globally in English, excluding the “European Economic Area” countries, Switzerland, the UK, and related territories. We are taking a thoughtful approach to rolling out this new experience and more countries and languages will follow soon.’
