Employees express distrust of the UK healthcare system

London, March 9 (Prensa Latina) More than 600,000 employees in the UK admit their mistrust of the National Health Service (NHS) in caring for their relatives, a survey revealed today.

Through these investigations, nurses, midwives, and other professionals in the involved sector expressed their despair over low wages, labor shortages, falling standards of care, and lack of time for proper job performance.

According to the investigation, the largest of its kind in the world, nearly a quarter of the 636,348 people interviewed said they were likely to seek work outside the NHS in the next 12 months.

Similarly, only 61.8 percent of nurses and midwives expressed their satisfaction with the standard of care provided under this system if a friend or family member needed care, indicating a 12 percent reduction in this parameter in the last two years.

In addition, 21.3 percent believe that there are enough responsible personnel to properly promote their responsibilities, as opposed to 33.4 percent, as revealed by a similar study in 2020, and only 25.6 percent reported satisfaction with salary they.

For their part, 40 percent of ambulance workers testified to past year’s mistakes or accidents that could harm patients or workers, and about half of them expressed fatigue.

For the Royal College of Nursing (RCN), which includes more than 500,000 people, the survey shows the dire state of the NHS, an intensifying staffing crisis, and predictable devastation if action is not taken quickly.
