Deputy Prime Minister of San Vicente in Cuba for health matters

Due to this situation, I am postponing a visit to London, UK, and then to Morocco tomorrow, said the head of the Government of this country, Ralph Gonsalves, who ruled out any travel for a long time with two portfolio heads without work.

Daniel, 69, also in charge of the Ministry of Transport and Public Works, was hospitalized in February possibly with a sciatic nerve problem, specialists explained.

“If you stand too much it affects one of your legs,” explains Gonsalves, adding that with his move to the Caribbean’s largest island he is seeking a second opinion or possible treatment.

The doctors were doing pretty well, but they themselves thought another evaluation would be a good thing, he added.

The Minister for Urban Development, Energy, Airports, Ports, Grenadines Affairs and Local Government, Julian Francis, left office after a stroke last July.

His son, Camillo, current head of Treasury, plans to travel to Washington DC, United States, on an official mission later this week, the country’s chief executive said.

The Moroccan delegation recently visited Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, where they signed several agreements, while Gonsalves seeks to reach out to others during his stay in Rabat.
