Her forty-ninth birthday has brought a bittersweet gift to Princess Mette Marit of Norway. Prince Haakon’s wife celebrated her birthday just a few days ago and although many details of how the celebrations will be have yet to emerge, the reality is that the Royal House has just announced that the Princess has tested positive for the coronavirus.

Through a brief statement issued by the press department, it was explained that the heir’s wife had tested positive and had normal symptoms. As they show, The Princess is under the supervision of her trusted doctorbut no further details were released. In addition, it is unknown if any other members of the Royal Family have contracted the disease.

A news that has raised concerns about the plight of King Harald’s daughter-in-law and Sonia of Norway.
