A fun series about a mole in a neo-Nazi group is almost here at NPO.
This BBC series looks back at the turbulent developments in Britain following the Brexit referendum, when the country found itself politically divided. This national discussion gave rise to many feelings of racism and extremism, which this series provides a real picture of through the story of Robbie Mullen.
True story
Entrance shows the consequences of Matthew Collins’ strange choice. In his youth, Collins was a devout neo-Nazi, but later joined the opposing party: the anti-fascist and anti-racist group Hope Not Hate.
He convinced Robbie Mullen to infiltrate the far-right extremist group National Action as his real ‘way in’. During this risky move, Mullen became involved in a secret plot to liquidate a member of parliament.
Release
Five-part miniseries Entrance was first released in the UK in October 2022, and received excellent reviews from The Guardian, The Independent, and the Evening Standard, among others.
Entrance can be seen weekly on NPO2 starting October 13. For those who can’t wait that long, the true crime series can be watched in its entirety starting September 28 NPO Plus.
