Bono Juana Azurduy reached the small town of Santa Cruz with comprehensive health services

The Intersectoral Mobile Brigade for social protection for Bolivia’s vulnerable population, implemented by the central government, reaches out to the indigenous Chiquitano peoples of San Javier and San Rafael, in the department of Santa Cruz, to provide comprehensive healthcare, providing the Juana Azurduy Bonus and the Universal Prenatal Subsidy for Life, as well as other benefits.

“This brigade reaches out to the most remote communities to provide economic incentives and other social benefits. Thanks to all the public institutions that made this delivery possible to people in need,” said the national coordinator of the Juana Azurduy Bonus Program, José Corini, in a statement. formal act.

On this occasion, more than 90 pregnant women and mothers of children under the age of two received the benefit, for a total of Bs 17,050, payment made possible through Banco Unión, a financial institution that is also part of the brigade.

Likewise, through the Community Productive Company Development Service (Sedem), 62 beneficiaries were given 86 Lifetime Universal Prenatal Subsidies, which aim to contribute to improving the nutritional status of pregnant women.

Meanwhile, the Public Personal Identification Service (Segip) and the Civil Registry Service (Serecí) issued 85 identity cards and 30 birth certificates.

Authorities from both cities and representatives from the Paikoneka Indigenous Center expressed their gratitude to various institutions that are part of the State of Bolivia, for providing care to a mother-daughter couple in the eastern region of the country.
