On Sunday 16 October and Monday 17 October, Bob Dylan will perform at AFAS Live in Amsterdam. Tickets for this concert will go on sale starting next Thursday, July 14.
The Rough and Rowdy Ways World Tour comes to Europe this fall with ten shows in Norway, Sweden, Germany, France, Belgium, the Netherlands and the UK. In recent months he has given 74 concerts in the United States. During the show, the 81-year-old singer-songwriter played songs from his latest studio album Rough and Rowdy Ways, complemented by older songs from his repertoire.
The concert is a phone-free show. This means that visitors are not allowed to use their cellphones in the hall. Upon arrival at the hall, they will receive a lockable bag in which they must temporarily store their cell phone. If you need your cell phone during the concert, you will have to go to the lobby or hall to use it there. According to Mojo, this phone-free viewing provides a better viewing experience for all parties involved. “Our eyes open a little wider and our senses become a little more stimulated when we step away from the technological tools we’re used to,” concert organizers said. Exceptions are made for visitors who must always carry a cell phone for medical reasons.
Bob Dylan was in the Top 40 with ten hits between 1965 and 1972. Additionally, several of his songs reached the charts in cover versions, such as the song I’ll be your baby tonightwhich is also on the setlist during this tour.
