Adyen and Billie want to collaborate on a European BNPL product

In collaboration with Billie, Adyen launched a business-to-business buy now pay later product. Online stores and marketplaces that use Adyen’s fintech platform can implement BNPL products.

The seamless integration of Billie’s B2B BNPL payments solution into the Adyen platform will make online payments easier for shoppers across e-commerce and m-commerce (mobile commerce) channels.

“This allows companies around the world to offer their business customers one of the most popular payment methods in B2B commerce: postpay by invoice,” said Adyen.

By using Billie’s payment solution, companies on the Adyen platform can make purchases and delay payment for up to 30 days. At the same time, the company receives money immediately after the product is delivered.

Billie performs real-time credit approval for shoppers at checkout and also provides fraud protection for businesses. According to Adyen, this makes Billie not only a useful cash flow management tool for B2B companies, but also for its business customers.

The BNPL payment solution will initially be available to buyers in Germany, Austria, Sweden and the Netherlands. France, England and Switzerland will follow in the coming months.

“We are proud to offer B2B companies and their business customers a buy now pay later option,” explains Julien Marlier (Country Manager Benelux in Adyen). “With Billie as one of the leading BNPL solutions for B2B payments, we have a great partner on our side and we look forward to expanding our collaboration.”
