An Ohio mother has been charged with murder after her one year and four month old daughter died after leaving it at home to go on a weeklong vacation to Detroit (Michigan) and Puerto Rico. According to various local media, the mother of the minor is in jail awaiting trial.

The events took place from June 8 to 16. During that week, Kristel Candelario, a 20-year-old mother, went on vacation. After returning home, he realized that her daughter wasn’t breathing or responding. After that, he called the health center.
