NCC has been commissioned by OX2 to build the foundations and roads for a new wind farm in Ånglarna, north of Falun in central Sweden. The order value is approximately SEK 280 million. The wind farm will consist of 18 wind turbines 220 meters high and will have an annual production capacity of around 315-355 GWh.
The NCC contract includes planning and construction of roads and towpaths, casting of wind turbine foundations, construction of distribution stations, and construction of power lines within the park. NCC has previously built wind farms at Orrberget near Borlänge and Åndberg near Sveg on behalf of OX2, and has carried out construction work at the nearby Svartnäs, Mombyåsen and Jädraås wind farms. The work is planned in such a way that the impact on the environment is as little as possible.
To reduce the amount of transportation and its impact on the climate, the resulting excavated materials will be reused in the project. The contract is a turnkey contract with an order value of approximately SEK 280 million. The order will be registered in the NCC Infrastructure business area in the fourth quarter of 2023.
