Guru Project Foundation, in collaboration with Santander University UDES and Erasmo Meoz University Hospital in Cúcuta, has successfully completed the second International Social Mission: Eye Surgery Day in the city of Cúcuta, making an important difference in ophthalmological care for vulnerable groups. community in Colombia.
This laudable initiative, led by Dr. Manuel Saldana, Consultant Eye and Oculoplastic Surgeon in the UK, brings together a team of UK eye health professionals who dedicate themselves to performing eye surgery, in particular cataract surgery, providing the opportunity to restore sight to more than 300 patients from Cúcuta.
