FLETCHER postpones his European tour due to health problems

FLETCHER have announced the postponement of their European tour, which went through Spain in October, due to health concerns. Dates in the UK, Australia and New Zealand are also affected. FLETCHER’s tour in Spain, of which JENESAISPOP is the official medium, now moves to 2024: new dates will be announced soon.

Tickets for both dates – October 7 in Madrid, October 8 in Barcelona – sold out in a matter of days. In Madrid’s case, in one day.

The singer was diagnosed with Lyme disease: “My illness had gotten worse in recent years, but I pushed it aside even though deep down I knew something was wrong,” she explained in a statement. “I have been receiving treatment in recent months, listening to the doctors, trying to learn everything about this invisible disease. Lyme has affected me in many ways and most importantly, it has taken its toll on my body. This also raised concerns about my voice. “My heart is in this situation because singing is the thing I love most in this world.”

FLETCHER hopes to return “bigger and better” in 2024 “and most importantly, stronger”, but explained that he will need the necessary time to recover. However, he will adhere to his upcoming performances at the Music Midtown festival in Atlanta and All Things Go in Washington, DC: “This will be the last concert I will do in 2023.”

Lyme disease is a bacterial infection and can be transmitted through the bite of an infected tick. The disease is known to have affected various pop stars, making it visible: Shania Twain, Justin Bieber and Avril Lavigne are among the artists who have suffered from this disease.
